Introduced in 1984, and had a continuous run until 2002. It brings all the good things from the M3 & M4, and has an integrated lightmeter.
The Leica M6 is still a full manual camera, and can work without batteries, these are only needed for the lightmeter.
The M6 is extremely popular, and there are more special editions of this camera then any other Leica M camera.
This chrome Leica M6 is a very early version (1986, 2nd batch of Chrome M6’es), and sought after. It has the classic “Leitz” logo on the front, it has the metal tip on the rewind knob instead of plastic, and it has the engraving on the top plate.
It is in a beautiful condition with only very minor user marks. It was fully serviced (CLA) by Amsterdam Camera Repairs. Shutterspeeds are 100% correct, and rangefinder properly aligned.
Camera comes with it’s original box, original strap, and 6 months warranty.
