Rewind Lever for Leica M Film cameras

Camera Obscura Elburg Leica rewind levers are machined from solid brass. Manufacturing and finishing is entirely carried out in the Netherlands, Europe.

These beautiful CNC machined levers fit the Leica M1, M2, M3, MP & MA.

Currently, three versions of the lever are available;

• Satin Chrome – As with chrome Leica top plates, this lever is first nickel plated, followed by satin chrome plating, to ensure a close match to the original finish of Leica M2/M3/MP cameras.
• Black Paint – This lever is first prepared by sanding, then sprayed with a two-pack paint, hardened by baking and thus ensuring durability.
• Bare brass – This lever is simply cleaned up after manufacturing and left with a pure brass finish. No other finishing is applied, so it will age accordingly.

Fitment, warranty & liability

Due to the variations of the production of the Leica M2/M3 and MP cameras over time, there is a very small possibility that the rewind lever may not fit a particular camera. This is because the original knob on the Leica has knurling and knurling can not be machined to precise dimensions. We have however tested our rewind lever on over 20 different Leica cameras – both new and old – and are therefore confident of the products dimensions and fitment. Should a rewind lever not fit a particular camera, we will swap the lever for another one upon request. Simply return the lever and we will ship a replacement upon receipt.
