The Leica M2 was produced between 1957 and 1968, and came after the Leica M3. The Leica M2 is more suitable for 35mm lenses, it has framelines for this, and has a viewfinder magnification of 0.72 instead of the 0.91 of the Leica M3.
The camera being offered here is a lever rewind + self timer model and runs extremely smooth, and all shutter times are correct. Rangefinder is correctly aligned.
It has some very minor user marks as can be seen on the pictures. It is otherwise in beautiful condition.
It has just been fully serviced, the shutter-speeds are correct, and the rangefinder is clear and correctly aligned.
