The Leica M2 was produced between 1957 and 1968, and came after the Leica M3. The Leica M2 is more suitable for 35mm lenses, has it has framelines for this, and has a viewfinder magnification of 0.72 instead of the 0.91 of the Leica M3.

This very rare & valuable original blackpaint Leica M2 (serial 1162410 ) is from the last batch produced and runs extremely smooth. All shutter times are correct. Rangefinder is correctly aligned. It has beautiful brassing as can be seen on the pictures.

Comes with a quick load kit fitted, and an vintage (camera quest) quick rewind lever. CLA by Aperture UK in London a few years back and regularly used.
