Again, another beautiful condition and rare Aires Coral 4.5cm f1.5 lens. This lens was taken out of a Aires-V camera, and was converted in the far east with a YIFENG M adapter which has now a modified cam to work with the alternative 4.5cm focal length.
This lens produces amazing images. It’s optical design is similar to the (classic) Voigtlander Nokton 50/1.5 that was mounted on Prominent cameras. It has however a different aperture which is pentagon shaped, which gives very interesting bokeh balls in the resulting pictures.
The barrel of the lens is in beautiful condition. The glass has been cleaned/serviced. The glass is in beautiful condition with no haze, scratches, or separation as some of these lenses suffer from. It unfortunately has a very tiny mark in the coating on the front element, which does not at all affect the image quality, but it is there, just to mention it.
It comes with it’s original front cap and a generic rear cap.

Alweer een schitterende conditie Aires Coral 4.5cm f1.5 lens. Deze lens is van een originele japanse Aires-V camera gehaald, en is omgebouwd in het verre oosten met een YIFENG M adapter, die nu een aangepaste focus cam heeft om met de 4.5cm focal lengte te corresponderen.
Deze lens produceert echt fantastische foto’s. Het optische ontwerp is vergelijkbaar met de klassieke Voigtlander Nokton 50/1.5 die op de Prominent cameras zat. Deze lens heeft alleen een ander diaframe wat pentagon/vijfhoekig is, wat zorgt voor zeer interessante ‘bokeh’.
De body van de lens is in schitterende conditie met amper gebruikssporen. Het glas is schoongemaakt, en is in schitterende conditie zonder krassen, haze, schimmel of separatie zoals veel van deze lensen hebben. Enige opmerking is dat er een klein plekje in de coating op het front element zit. Dit heeft echter geen enkele impact op de kwaliteit van de foto’s!
De lens komt met een originele voorkap, en een generieke M achterdop.
