Aires Coral 4.5cm f1.5 converted to Leica M

Here we have another very beautiful condition and rare Aires Coral 4.5cm f1.5 lens. This one againwas converted in the far east with a YIFENG M adapter which has now a modified cam to work with the alternative 4.5cm focal length. The focustab from the original camera has been adapted to fit the barrel.

This lens produces amazing images. It’s optical design is similar to the (classic) Voigtlander Nokton 50/1.5 that was mounted on Prominent cameras.

The barrel of the lens is in beautiful condition. The glass has been cleaned/serviced. We wouldn’t say the glass is perfect, there are no scratches on the glass, and no dust, no haze or separation, there was a very tiny fungal infection on the far edge of the front element, which was cleaned. It is very common for these lenses to develop some issues over time. There is absolute no impact on the pictures.

It comes with a generic rear & front cap.
