Leica has been know for making special edition lenses with M39 screw-mount for the Japanese market.
This lens is such an example. It is a mint condition Summicron 50mm V4 with LTM/M39 screw-mount, so you can use modern, multicoated optics on your old Barnack or other M39/LTM screw-mount camera(CanonP/Canon7/Bessa/Yasuhara/Nicca).
It is really in mint condition, and comes with original caps. The glass is perfect with no cleaningmarks, scratches, haze or fungus.
The box is an oriignal 11619 box that is designated for these screw-mount lenses, but the serial on the box does not match the lens itself. It comes with the original leather pouch, caps and paperwork.
Only 550 have been produced. This is the same optical design as the Summicron 50mm V5.
