What a find! A perfect glass Carl Zeis Jena Biotar 50mm f1.4.
This very clean example was professionally converted to have perfect rangefinder coupling on both film and digital. The best modification was done to the rear barrel of the lens to open it up, so it prevents vignetting. There is barely any vignetting. The aperture ring was also replaced with a machined ring with proper aperture indicators engraved.
Since the focus barrel is new, and the aperture handling ring was replaced as well, the lens looks practically new.
It looks contempary, but also very much classic at the same time.
The glass has no scratches, cleaning marks, or haze.
Comes with a generic rear M cap, a front cap, and a 49mm UV filter to protect that beautiful glass.
