No Leica marking on the front, just a big "M6" engraving. Only a small number of this Leica M6 variant were made in 1988. A great shooter, and just a tiny bit different than a normal Leica M6.

The camera is in great condition with only very minor wear. The vulcanite is original, and the plastic protection on the bottom is still in place. The viewfinder is bright and clear.

This camera has just received a service, and all shuttertimes are spot on, and the rangefinder is perfectly aligned.

]]> Een Leica M6 “Big Logo”-rangefinder, in prachtige staat en enigszins zeldzaam/gezocht. Geen Leica “engraving” op de voorkant, alleen een grote “M6”-engraving. Slechts een klein aantal van deze Leica M6-variant zijn in 1988 gemaakt. Een fantastische camera, en net even anders dan een normale Leica M6.

De camera verkeert in uitstekende staat met slechts minimale gebruikssporen. Het leer is origineel en de plastic bescherming aan de onderkant is nog aanwezig. De zoeker is helder en duidelijk.

Deze camera heeft onlangs een onderhoudsbeurt gehad en alle sluitertijden zijn perfect en de rangefinder is perfect uitgelijnd.

This special edition Leica M6 is just the body. This was a limited edition of just 500 pieces. Originally it would come in a box and a matching 50mm Summilux lens.

The differences between a normal one and this Traveler Edition, is the special smooth leather wrapped around the camera instead of the textured leather on a normal M6, and a black popup lever in the rewind mechanism.

This camera has been fully checked, and is perfectly ready to go, and shoot wonder full pictures.

It is in beautiful/near mint condition with just the tiniest of user marks. The photos are very over exposed so you can see the minute usermarks on the body. In real usage you won't see those.

Deze speciale editie Leica M6 is een gelimiteerde oplage van slechts 500 stuks. Oorspronkelijk zou hij geleverd worden in een doos en een bijpassende 50mm Summilux-lens. Deze advertentie gaat alleen om de body.

Het verschil tussen een normale M6 en deze Traveler Edition is het speciale gladde leer dat om de camera is gewikkeld in plaats van het getextureerde leer van een normale M6, en een zwarte pop-uphendel in het terugdraaimechanisme.

Deze camera is volledig nagekeken en is perfect klaar voor de volgende eigenaar om prachtige foto’s te maken.

Hij verkeert in prachtige/bijna nieuwstaat met slechts een paar kleine gebruikerssporen. De foto’s zijn erg overbelicht, waardoor je de kleine gebruikerssporen op de body kunt zien. In de praktijk zul je die niet zien.

It celebrates the Chinese 'Rooster' new year. These were numbered out of the 300, although supposedly, only 268 were made. Making this a quite rare camera.

This particular example has clearly been lovingly used instead of displayed in a cabinet. It comes with its original matching Summicron 50mm lens, which is in perfect condition with no cleaningmarks, scratches, haze or fungus.

We had the camera cleaned, the logo on the front has been replaced with a brand new one. So is the original rewind lever that had a scratch, we replaced it with a brand new one from Leica.

We serviced the camera completely, and it is now in perfect working condition.

A very special collectors items, which can in it's current 'user' condition be a great special workhorse for somebody that wants something really special.
