Aires Coral 4.5cm f1.5 converted to Leica M

A beautiful condition and rare Aires Coral 4.5cm f1.5 lens. This lens was taken out of a broken camera, and was converted in the far east with a YIFENG M adapter which has now a modified cam to work with the alternative 4.5cm focal length. The focustab from the original camera has been adapter to fit the barrel.

This lens produces amazing images. It’s optical design is similar to the (classic) Voigtlander Nokton 50/1.5 that was mounted on Prominent cameras.

The barrel of the lens is in beautiful condition. The glass has been cleaned/serviced. We wouldn’t say the glass is perfect, there are no scratches on the glass, but there was an extremely tiny amount of fungus on the edge of an innner element, which has been cleaned up. This is very common for these lenses to develop some issues over time. There is absolute no impact on the pictures.

It comes with it’s original front cap, a vintage Walz 49mm filter, and a generic rear cap.
