This is one of the last production Leica M3s with single stroke operations, and harder to find with a serial number above 1 million.

It is in a clean condition with minor user marks, only very light rubbing marks on the side where the strap rubs it. It also has all the original vulcanite in good condition, and the original body & flashcaps.

When it arrived in our shop, it still had the original L seal, we did however need to remove that, in order to give it a full service. It is now fully serviced , it did not need new curtains, but we needed to replace the lightseals. It is now in perfect working condition.

It is in a very clean condition with only very minor user marks, it has no scratches or marks on the top plate, only very light rubbing marks on the side where the strap rubs it. It also has all the original vulcanite in perfect condition, and the original body & flashcaps.

When it arrived in our shop, it still had the original L seal, we did however need to remove that, in order to give it a full service. The inside was very clean, the camera has barely seen use in it's lifetime. It is now fully serviced and in perfect working condition.

We have also added our own rewind lever to it, which will come with the camera.

This particular example has what it seems an interesting history, it has engraving of (what we guess) the original owner, which seems to have been heading up a very large corporation. The camera has been tested on the shutter tester, and shot with film, and is in perfect working order. Rangefinder is spot on. There are however some user marks, and ofcourse the previously mentioned engraving. A real user camera.

The camera presented here is a very early version from the first batch, and has the double stroke lever, buddha ears to mount a strap on, glass pressure plate, and no frame selector (hard to find).

It has a dent on the corner as can be seen in the photos, and there is on the side of the viewfinder a black spot. This can not be seen when looking through it, and has no impact on focussing.

It benefitted from a full CLA by Amsterdam Camera Repairs last year. Only 5 rolls have been shot with it since.

This camera has 6 months warranty.
